City of Fergus Falls Dog Park

Let’s get the City of Fergus Falls a DOG PARK! Anything will help. Our goal is to raise $13,000 by the end of the summer. This will go to supplies like posts, gates, top and bottom railing, and fence connectors. As well as; signs, a water fountain, and a bulletin board.  Once we raise enough money for fence supplies (estimated around $7,000) dog park advocate Chelsey Beilhartz and Tami Revering will go shopping!

Project Cost Estimate

-Fencing & Gating – approximate 1,300 linear feet of 6’ chain link fence & with five gates. Three for entrance/exit. Two for maintenance.

                Menards: 5 gates - $1,300. Fence Posts/ Fence End Posts/ Fence Corner Posts/ Top & Bottom Rail/ Brace Bands - $5,000. (Get during 11% Cash Back for future dog park purchases. )

-Drinking Fountain – install not included

o   Dog drinking fountain with hose bibb and hose - $2,970.00

 

-*Bulletin Board – One medium-size bulletin at $525 

 

-*Signage – Single-sided City of Fergus Falls Dog Park sign estimated $1,500.00

 

-8’ x 8’ Concrete slab (entrance/exit) - $512.00 @ $8.00 per square foot

 

*Dog waste bag dispenser

o   $676.00 for 4 at $169.00 each

*Dog Waste Bags *General Maintenance*

o   20,000 bags @ $400.00 (.02 cents each)

o   Find volunteer to keep dispensers updated
