City of Newcastle Pipe Band, season 2024

The City of Newcastle Pipe Band (Charity number 1131396) is England's premier pipe band. Following a highly successful contest season in 2023 we want to continue our progress, and to represent our city and our region. In order to do so, we're asking for your support.

It is our aim to compete at the British Championships (Bangor, Northern Ireland), the European Championships (Forres, Scotland), the British Championships (Perth, Scotland), the Scottish Championships (Dumbarton, Scotland), the World Championships (Glasgow, Scotland), and the English Championships (Chatsworth, England).

Our members pay to attend band practices, subscription fees, and travel for contests. This fundraising initiative is intended to support the band in meeting these costs, to ensure that everyone associated with the City of Newcastle can travel to these competitions and participate in the 2024 season.

We will be organising public fundraising performances in Newcastle, a sponsored walk from North Shields to Blyth, and approaching local businesses for sponsorship. We recognise that there are many people who support our efforts from afar, and we want to give you the opportunity to back our fundraising campaign.

Any donation that you can afford to give is hugely appreciated by everyone in the band. With your support, we can continue to represent the City of Newcastle at the highest level of pipe band competition.
