'Civil War in the Midlands' Exhibition
The Wars of the Three Kingdoms ravaged across the country in the mid-17th Century. Our goal is raise £800 to host a special exhibition at Middleton Hall & Gardens to tell the story of what happened in the Midlands during the conflict.
Your support will enable us to purchase interpretation panels and battlefield finds (amongst others) to display at the hall to the public, in our new exciting exhibition:- 'Civil War in the Midlands'.
Complimenting the exhibition are a number of documentary videos which have been made available to us by Living History UK, such as this one which documents the Battle of Naseby:-
We are hoping to raise £800, which will be used to purchase:
- 6 x interpretation panels (£50 each)
- 6 x Easels to display panels (£75)
- Purchase of original artefacts such as musket balls (£100)
- Display screen to play battlefield documentaries (£275)
- 2 x information panels to signpost the exhibition (£25 each)
Any underspend of donations will remain with Middleton Hall Trust, registered charity no. 1101315.
