Monica's Fight with Bile Duct Cancer

Fighting Cancer Together!
For the last 2 years, Monica has been battling a rare form of Cholangiocarcinoma, or Bile Duct Cancer. Doctors believe the best odds for a cure is an aggressive fight with chemotherapy followed by a liver transplant. Unfortunately, Monica was denied a transplant in Canada, and without any known cure for this cancer, her only other option is a transplant centre in Houston, U.S.A. that has had positive outcomes on transplant patients with her specific condition.
Monica is a strong and vibrant 33-year-old women who loves to travel, work and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. Life has handed her a lot to fight through to be able to enjoy these precious moments in her life. She stays as positive, healthy, and active as she can since being diagnosed with Wilson's Disease (resulting in a cirrhotic liver), but unfortunately, this has not been enough.
Your generous donation would go towards her treatment and recovery, the purchase of healthy organic food, alternative care and treatment such as acupuncture, further exploration of options outside of Canada, as well as the costs of temporarily relocating to the U.S.A with her husband Nivi Gilboa and mom, Maria Lewin. The Houston Methodist Hospital has provided an estimate of $250,000 USD cash down payment for the treatment. Once Monica is listed for transplant, they require another $250,000 USD cash payment. If denied by Alberta Health Services these costs will need to be incurred by the family. Other costs include the extensive living costs of relocating to Houston both during and post treatment.
Please support Monica to get the treatment she needs and back to enjoying a cancer-free life.
