Lunch for Law Enforcement

Donation protected
I am a retired Police Lieutenant with the Gainesville Police Department after 27 years of service.  I have a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and currently own a HD Street Glide. I  am also a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Florida Chapter One .  This summer I plan to ride across the country.  I will start in Virginia and end in Seattle, Washington. Each day I have selected a Police and/or Sheriff's department to  provide lunch for their department members as well as the civilian support staff.  I thought after the year law enforcement has went through it would be a great gesture of gratitude from fellow Americans to show their support to these hero's.  I will start my trip in mid-July,  I have identified and spoken to 27 agencies which will be provided lunch and or dinner during my ride.   In each city  a local restaurant has been selected to provide the food, since they have been hit the hardest during this past year due to COVID.  100% of the money collected will entirely be used for the purchase of meals for the law enforcement agencies.   Any money which is left over at the completion of my trip, will be spent feeding as many of the Seattle Police Officers as I can.

A  public Facebook page  and YouTube channel has been created for contributors to follow the trip.

Content will start to be added to both social media platforms starting the first part of July. I will show accountability on how the funds were spent along with pictures  and video of the various Law Enforcement Agencies  which were provided lunch through your donations.

I would like to thank the National Chapter of Blue Knights for their article  about the ride which appears in the 2nd Quarter edition of Sword & Shield.

Thank you to WCJB, TV 20 for doing a short segment about my trip.  I also wanted to thank the Wellness 360 Magazine for such a fantastic article highlighting my trip in their May/June issue.  I have included links to both below.
