“CKD Cant Beat Me” Levi needs a kidney!!

Hello my name is Levi Edmiston and I’m 11yo. I am a 5th grader at Bradford Elementary School. I live with my mom, stepdad and 3 brothers. I also have 3 stepbrothers, a stepsister and I am an uncle to 3 nephews. I love my big family! I love baseball and I enjoy getting to be the baseball manager for my school! When I was younger I suffered from shaken baby syndrome by someone who is no longer in my life, but that never kept me from growing into a strong, lively young man with lots of life to live. Unfortunately, I have also been suffering from chronic kidney disease which has led to numerous doctors visits, hospital stays, lab work, etc. I have recently been told I am in Stage 5 CKD which means my kidneys are no longer functioning. I will soon require a dialysis catheter to receive dialysis multiple times a week and be placed on a transplant list for new kidneys. This is not only hard on my body, but financially taxing on my family because my insurance company dropped me prior to all of this taking place. Between the hospital bills, the traveling expenses, my parents missing work and still needing to pay bills at home, we could really use your help.
