1/8/24 Thank you for everyone who has donated or shared this fundraiser to help out such a wonderful family in their time of need. After speaking to Tysen we have decided to go ahead and close the fundraiser down as you all have managed to not just meet our goal but to surpass the goal. The Ober family has extended their sincere gratitude for anyone whether you donated or shared the post, everything helps. Tysen and Mandy now have just about everything they need and look forward to rebuilding their homestead this year. All funds will be sent directly to the Ober family once the transfer is complete.
Thank you,
Holly Kishbaugh

Update from the Ober Family:
All glory to God in the highest. We are so grateful for all of your support. Dover-Foxcroft is the greatest little community in America and God's hand of blessing has been so strikingly obvious over the last few weeks. We are so happy that God guided Tysen to return to his hometown and raise a family here, only a loving, and compassionate God could work a great tragedy like what our family recently experienced into a powerful testimony of his grace, mercy, steadfastness and sacrifice.
Many folks reading this know that we lost our home and out two wonderful pups, Alfredo and Vanilla on November 19th. Many of you may have been witnesses, firefighters, bystanders, well-wishers. No matter how you were a part in this, we have found it to be good. This fire has revealed a soft, caring hearts in a community that we didn't know was so vast and so tight-knit in the face of adversity. No one even less expected is the complete deluge of support that follows this loss. We did not know how much we were loved until that day. We want you all to know how much we love you back.
Matthew 22:36-39 says "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment int eh Law?" Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
We strive for this daily, and it has never been more poignant in our lives than in this time. God works for the good of those who love him. Whether any of you know it or not, you have been doing His Will in your treatment of the Ober family. Anyone who has 2 shirts should give to the one who has none, anyone with food should do the same. We thank you all for knowingly (or Unknowingly) following Christ's teachsing and performing Godly works, and that is the heart of God; to care for those who love Him. Thank you a million times over.

Love,
The Ober Family

Hi, my name is Holly Kishbaugh and I am raising money to help support the Ober Family. On Sunday November 19th, 2023 while the family of 5 was attending church they were notified their family home was on fire. Living just a few moments outside of town it took 12 different fire departments to fight the blaze, but unfortunately the fire was too intense to save anything including their two precious family dogs. Tysen works as a patrolman for the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department while his wife Amanda is blessed to be a stay at home mom raising their three young children and is pregnant with baby Ober due in February. Please help support this young wonderful family in their time of need. It's our turn to help them. All funds will go directly to the Obers. God bless you.
