Love for the Lumleys
On Tuesday, December 22, Anthony “Tony” Lumley, Sr. passed away suddenly from coronavirus, leaving behind his four children and two grandchildren.
To say “Mr. Tony” was a loyal family man is an understatement. As a loving single father, his entire world centered around loving, providing for and taking care of his beloved children and grandchildren. Mr. Lumley was a father who seemed to have the power to be in three places at once. He supported all of his children at all times, attending every single cheerleading event, football game, basketball game, and educational ceremony.
Soon, the Lumleys will be a five-graduate family of the METCO program, Mr. Lumley was a legacy from Belmont High School, his eldest son Eric, graduated Wayland High School in 2010, the younger three of his children will all be Wellesley High School graduates at the end of this year (Nykia ‘17, Anthony “Tony”, Jr. ‘20 and Samone ‘21).
For over 30 years, Tony worked for Cleary Millworks Wholesale Doors Company.
Mr. Lumley’s sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and in need of our help. Those wishing to honor his memory may contribute here. All funds will be used to help support the Lumley children with unforeseen medical and living expenses, as well as college tuition.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated in supporting his children.
May he rest in peace.
