CLAIR JONES MEMORIAL FUND

I am Ralph Gowling, manager of the Amersham White Eagle Club – formerly the Amersham Polish Club, where Clair Jones was to many the heart and soul of our establishment as well as being a major driving force behind its success for many years.

Clair’s family have asked me to set up a memorial fund and I am obviously honoured to do so.

With her bubbly caring personality and her hard work, Clair brought so much joy to so many.

She was devoted to the Club where she put the fun into people’s lives by organising events like Ascot, bingo and Christmas draws as well as so much more.

On top of that Clair always had a radiant smile for everyone. She was their friend and made the Club a warm welcoming place.

At home she was a wonderful loving mother to son Russell and daughter Kaysie. I told her many times she could be very proud of them and what she had achieved as a parent.

The sheer volume of wonderful heartfelt messages for Clair on Facebook and other platforms as well as the amazing number of beautiful bunches of flowers have been testimony to just how much she was truly loved by so many.

Clair put her heart and soul into everything. She enriched the lives of us all.

This fund is being set up to ensure we give Clair the most beautiful and memorable send-off we can. Monies will go towards the funeral costs.
