Claire and Lori's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, January 2, elementary school teacher Claire D. was randomly shot while driving, the innocent and unintended victim of gunfire near her home in Berkeley, California. Claire was shot in the face and neck and was critically injured. Then both she and her passenger and partner Lori were injured in the subsequent collision that resulted.
They have a teen son and family who need them.
Claire will get only about a month of paid sick time while Lori works freelance and only gets paid when she works. So these next 6 or so months will be trying in many ways for them. This fund has been set up to make sure finances don't add further stress to the family.
Please help support them with medical bills and living expenses while they recover and fight to overcome the horrific violence that was inflicted on them.
Thanks for the support,
