Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Our beloved Claire has recently been diagnosed with a high grade Diffuse Midline Glioma, formally known as DIPG. This is one of the most aggressive types of childhood brain cancer and has no cure. The typical life expectancy of a child diagnosed with DIPG is a little as 8 months. Claire is 6 years old (soon to be 7) and is an absolute ray of sunshine, her playfulness, kindness and sassiness brings joy to all that she meets.
Claire loves art and animals and lives at home with her mum Meghan, her dad Mitchell and her big sister Olivia. This family is facing a heartbreaking journey. We want to ensure that Claire’s final months are filled with special memories and that Mitchell and Meghan can focus entirely on Claire’s needs without the added stress of financial burdens. The funds we raise will go directly towards any unanticipated costs that are incurred due to Claire’s illness, as well enabling us to create as many special memories as we can for Claire. Claire turns 7 on September 21st and we would like to make it a really special day for her.
Meghan and Mitchell’s resilience and determination are unwavering, but we know that the road ahead will be heart breaking.
By contributing to this fund, you will be helping to ease the financial strain on Meghan and Mitchell which will allow them to focus on what truly matters—making Claire’s time with us as special as it can be.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page with your network can help spread the word and support Claire and her family.

Thank you so much,
Claire’s Band of Angels
