Claire's Fight to Keep Her Home

Hi, my name is Claire. I moved from my small OK hometown in 2015 to the East Coast, moving in with my life partner to pursue a new life with more opportunities. We have overcome many obstacles life threw at us, but my health has been in decline for the last 6 years and it has finally caught up with me. I lost my job in August and my partner shouldered the task of paying all of our bills. I looked and am still looking for a job despite my poor health. We missed a past mortgage payment that went delinquent and our house is facing foreclosure. We have stalled the process as long as we could, but we are out of options and out of time. Each month that goes by, the amount rises and it's coming down to either feeding ourselves or stalling on other bills to save money. This is my home, it's the only one I have. After I left my hometown, my grandmother, who raised me, came down sick and I briefly went back to take care of her. My grandfather ultimately decided to sell our family home after her passing. I've put my life and all my money into this house; it's all I have left. I have nowhere to go. I don't like asking for money. My folks taught me if there's anything in life that I want, I have to pay my way, but I'm all out of pride. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot thank you enough.
