Clair's new knees needs
Donation protected
Hi,
I'm Clair. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which means my joints were hyperflexible most of my life, but now that I'm 45, some of them can barely move from advanced joint disease, arthritis and other ouchies. I loved my active lifestyle, but have been severely limited the past few years to the point where I can barely take care of myself and have had to change my job.
Im FINALLY getting a long waited Right Total Knee Replacement (RTKR) this May. WOOT!!!
But, I live alone with two big dogs, in a tiny house with stairs. That is not really ideal for my recovery, but its what I got. I know I can do this recovery, but its going to take all that I have to get through it. And help from everyone in my corner.
My dogs need to be walked daily, at least. I will need help with keeping the house clean, rides to and from Dr appointments, and food deliveries. These things are quite expensive, and that's why I'm asking for help.
Breakdown of minimal costs/ month (anticipate needing at least three months worth
Dog walks daily/month $900-$1000
Housecleaner (2/month) $250
Rides to/from appts/month $250
grocery deliveries/supplies $250
Im going to be out of commission for at least 2 months, and then it will be a long slow start to get back to something resembling normal.
Any help you can offer to help me cover these expenses while Im out , would be more than amazing. Having one less thing to worry about going into this would make a huge difference in my recovery.
I really appreciate all of you.
