CLAPAI Ladies Mini Marathon
I’m running (or jogging with a bit of walking) the Ladies Mini Marathon with friends and family to raise money in aid of the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Ireland. My daughter Nell was born with a cleft lip and alveolus in January 2022. CLAPAI provided the bottles we used to feed Nell while in hospital and continue to use today. CLAPAI have provide us with vital information, ongoing support and the opportunity to link with other cleft families through family fun days.
Nell had her cleft lip repair in August 2022. She is a very happy and active 16 month old with a gorgeous forever smile.
The Cleft Lip & Palate Association of Ireland (CLAPAI), a registered charity, is a voluntary group formed to provide support and information for parents of children affected by cleft lip and palate and to those directly affected by the condition. There are over 100 new births per year and approximately 2000 children in treatment at any given time. They distribute information leaflets, publish newsletters and provide new parent maternity packs.
Thank you for your support.
