Clara's NYLF: Explore STEM Summer Experience

Hello, my name is Clara.

I have been nominated by one of my middle school teachers to represent Firth School District at a National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Explore STEM. I will be traveling to Dallas, Texas, June 27th-July 2nd, where I will stay at the University of Texas with other students from around the United States. My goal is to raise enough money to pay for this experience to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while representing Firth School District. I am excited to learn more about forensic science, robotics, coding, and wilderness medicine. I am also excited to have the opportunity to meet some of our nations renown scientist, including the opportunity to meet one of NASA current astronauts. The money I raise will help pay for the tuition ($3000) and traveling expenses ($1000). This is a great opportunity to gain experience in areas related to my future career choice of a Homicide Detective. Thank you for your support.
