Home for Cambodian Family

Hi, our names are Lea, Lesley, John, Phil, Jacob and Jules

In January 2024 we will be venturing back to Cambodia and so excited to be able to make the journey.

Our community has been involved in service trips to Siem Reap, Cambodia since 2013 and this will be our return trip since 2018 due to Covid. It's been our focus in the past to support the slum area of Mondul Bai in Siem Reap and the amazing New Hope NGO. Families in small communities have been hit very hard and we are wanting to be able to use funds raised to build a solid home structure for a large family (replacing a bamboo home with cladded walls, cement foundation and include a toilet/shower structure).

The funds will be used for building materials, to pay local builders for their expertise and guidance and provide basic supplies for the family involved. Additionally our aim is to provide funds to New Hope for educational needs, building maintenance and their food programs.

There's not a lot of time for us to fundraise the full amount in traditional ways and we need all the help we can get.
