I am saddened to create this fundraiser for the funeral expenses of Clarence Curry Jr. I loving know him as Curry. He was first, my patient, but then he became my friend. Before I knew it, he was like family. He and his wife, Tasha, showed me a love and appreciation that I will not ever forget. Curry passed on Saturday, February 4, 2023. No matter the health condition that Curry was fighting, he always came off with such strength. He smiled through it, even when he wasn’t feeling up to doing much. He was a fighter and a loud one at that. My favorite thing he would do is smile when he knew he wasn’t doing something he was supposed to do. Even when Curry was given a certain amount of time he said, “That’s what they say, but God will decide when it’s my time.” He never wavered. Upon learning that same news, he said, “Well, I just want to be home with my family. If it happens then, I got to see them. If it doesn’t, I still didn’t lose that time with them.” That’s all he wanted was to be home with them. I am so glad that he got to do that. Now, his family needs help paying for the costs of his arrangements. The timeline wasn’t near as long as they were given and it’s quite a blow to them to lose him so early. I would like to take this burden from them while they hold each other through the burden of losing such a strong, loving man. I hope that you can help, however, if you can’t, please share to as many people as you can.
