Clark Goble died this week from a sudden brain aneurism. In his passing he unexpectedly leaves behind a young family of five children, whose provenance was always a source of anxiety for him as an older father.
Clark's last week ended on a happy note. He was so pleased to have taken his youngest, Analise (1yr) on her first camping trip. A trip to see family in the Canadian Rockies was finally looking to be more than an oft-delayed dream. His kids seemed to be making it through the school transitions he and Nicole had worked so hard to smooth over for this year. I could tell Clark felt things were turning a corner.
Clark has always been a thinker. Obscure questions and topics were a way to occupy the restlessness intelligence generates. A new baby at 50 occupied him in a different way. The pragmatic tension between entrepreneurial anxiousness, intellectual diversion, and 2am diaper changes were finally settling down. With five kids, Clark seemed to take more of a "que sera sera" perspective. Work would be what it would be. Do what you can, and for once, don't over-think things....
With Clark's untimely departure, please help us support what we know was always his concern: supporting his family with the gap his passing creates.
In lieu of flowers or other tokens of remembrance, we've set up this page....
