Class of '83 - We Stick Together

This is Janet Elliott and I am asking friends from the Class of '83 to help one of our classmates. We have all gone through difficult seasons in our lives and yet we push through and carry on. Micki Trexler Makovic lives in Tucson, AZ. In the past several years, she has faced some really difficult situations. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, went through treatment, a double mastectomy and then reconstruction surgeries. She has also faced other physical difficulties, especially since Covid. I talk with her several times a month. We share similar struggles with anxiety and depression. She loves life, she loves her friends and she loves her family. Recently, she was able to move into an apartment for her and her youngest son, Ren. I am raising money to help Micki make her apartment into a home. She has very little. She needs some furniture and other household items. I have picked up some pictures to decorate her apartment. My goal is to raise money and then fly to Tucson and help her set up her home with the things she needs. In High School, Micki was a friend to everyone. I would ask that you help support one of our own. I want to bless her and try to help alleviate some of the pressures of everyday living. Please share with other classmates, even those that knew her in High School but might not have been in our class. Thank You!!
