My name is Claudia Inés Pringles and I am a National Delegate representing the State of Vermont.
I am the mother two, including a daughter on the autism spectrum, and a lawyer with a practice focused on special needs law. I work hard to ensure that all Vermonters, regardless of social or economic status, race, gender, or disability are treated fairly and justly in our communities, schools, and by our government.
I am a Latina and a first generation immigrant. I value the diversity in our country and understand the danger of creating walls and “otherizing” our neighbors. I have been a U.S. Citizen for ten years and do not take for granted my American citizenship, nor the rights afforded to us all as a promise of this citizenship.
I am committed to Democratic values and I am a dedicated Bernie Sanders supporter. I have worked hard to promote Bernie via canvassing, bilingual phone-banking, volunteering and the creation of several websites. However, I am at my best when I can promote Sen. Sanders in person. To that end, I have used every opportunity possible when I travel out of state to talk to people about Bernie. Whether I’m at Disneyland, the Sonoma County Fair, on a brief elevator ride or on a long train ride to an out-of-state conference: I talk Bernie.
I am a strong believer in fairness and transparency and I am a proud signer of the Vermont Convention Resolution on Super-Delegates, which we passed uninamoulsy at our state convention!
My life experience has taught me to be fearless when it comes to standing up for what is right and I can’t think of a more honorable person to fight for than our own senator: Bernie Sanders. We have in Bernie a candidate of a lifetime. At the convention, I will be a strong voice for the issues that Bernie stands for; that Vermont stands for; that Democracy stands for. I am unswayable and unrelenting in doing my part to make our world a better place.
I plan on arriving to the convention early to coordinate with other very committed Bernie supporters. I would love to offset costs and would appreciate your help.
