Claudia's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Last year August 2023, my Aunt Claudia was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went into it like a warrior. Her mind and attitude showed no mercy for the cancer.

In foresight, the cancer was beat the moment it was found because of her will. She went through needles, MRI's, ultrasounds, biopsies, PET scan, CAT scan, blood samples, hospitals...testing, testing and more testing. Finally in December of 2023 Claudia had lumpectomy surgery and she felt saved. The cancer was out! Unfortunately, one just one damn metastasized lymph node was found.

Claudia will be going through Chemo for 20 weeks starting Jan 11th, 2024, followed by radiation. At the very end she will get reconstructive surgery.

This next part of her journey will be the toughest, however, she quotes:

"Please don't be sad. I'm ready, I'm strong and I'm not afraid. All I ask is for you to get your mammograms. Men, this includes you! Ask your doctor about male breast cancer screening. What you don't know can take your life. "

She is an entrepreneur, and launched her business during the mists of finding out she has breast cancer. Due to the intensity of her cancer treatment, Claudia is unable to work. This has put a strain on her finances creating an additional burden during an already difficult time.
