Giving Support to Clay and Lindsay

Their Story
Long awaited triplets have arrived for Clayton, Lindsay, and their son Ewan on April 3rd, 2020. In the midst of COVID 19, three beautiful girls - Lucy, Gwendolyn, and Matilda - were born at the exact time that all we had all hoped for; not too soon, not too late.

All three girls spent a few days in the NICU and one by one the girls got to come home. Lucy came home first and Tillie (Matilda) came home second. Before the last of the triplets—Gwen—came home from the hospital, Lindsay started having a strong headache and high blood-pressure. She went to the hospital and she was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia, just a week and two days after giving birth.

Due to COVID 19 protocol, Lindsay spent the night alone at the hospital. That night, the doctors found some bleeding from her brain. She immediately underwent procedures to release pressure from her brain and several tests were done to better understand the cause.

Many family members are with Clayton helping to take care of the three newborns and their older brother Ewan while Lindsay is still at the hospital. Clayton has been running back and forth between home and the hospitals, trying to care for his newborns and doing whatever check-ins he can on Lindsay. Visitation is prohibited because of the threat of COVID-19 so most info comes from phone calls from doctors.

After 2 weeks in the ICU, Lindsay has been medically cleared to begin rehab through PT and OT. She will remain there until she's been cleared to come home.

The Family's Needs
Any of these events on their own would be challenging for anyone. Within the last few weeks, the outpouring support through prayers and helping hands has been incredibly meaningful for Clayton and Lindsay. Through monetary donations, we hope to alleviate two main challenges for their family: 1. To help with the resources needed to provide for triplets like supplies and live-in care and 2. help with the cost of multiple medical bills and physical therapy that Lindsay will need to do before and after coming back home.

We appreciate the strength that Clayton, Lindsay, Ewan, Lucy, Gwen, and Tillie have shown as well as the emotional and physical support that so many friends and family have poured out. Please continue to pray and, if you are able, find any amount you're comfortable giving to help out with the monetary burden of the coming months.

Thank you!
