He is currently in the hospital and the extent of his recovery is unknown at this time.

As you can imagine, this has been an extremely difficult time for his fiancé and their family. Not only are they dealing with the emotional toll of the accident, but they are also facing significant financial challenges. Sara has been working hard to support her fiancé, Clayton, during this difficult time. However, due to the severity of his accident, she has had to take time off work to be by his side.

As a result, they are facing significant financial challenges, including medical bills and regular house bills. In this GoFundMe campaign, we want to update you on Clayton's condition. Sadly, Clayton suffered a severe injury to his C1 vertebra, leading to a challenging and lengthy recovery. He is healing slowly and has a CT scan and X-ray scheduled in six weeks, which will determine if surgery is necessary. If surgery is required, Clayton will lose complete motion of his neck and become disabled.

This situation has had a profound impact beyond Clayton's health. As the main source of income, Clayton's inability to work has left us struggling to cover our mortgage, utilities, and provide for our children. While I'm actively searching for additional income, my current state job falls short. I'm doing my best, but we need extra help to make ends meet.

Although our family has been supportive, it's unfair to expect them to fill the financial gaps indefinitely. Clayton's return to work is still months away, and if surgery is needed, it becomes even more uncertain. Sadly, he doesn't qualify for disability benefits or SSI due to the fact that he was only at his new job for two weeks prior to the accident.
