Hi, thanks for visiting our page!

Restore the Weaver is a growing group of over 1000 individuals passionate about the health of our local river...the Upper River Weaver, in Cheshire - from Church Minshull to its source around Bickerton.

Over the years the river has suffered numerous farm slurry, sewage and road runoff pollution issues plus physical degradation of the habitats it supports.

We are seeking funding for our own testing equipment to help monitor pollution events and to work towards funding physical restoration and protection works to the river.

We need our river to restored and resilient to cope with climate change and human pressures.
