Help Nasenyi Jewish Community get Clean Water

Donation protected
My name is Ethan and I’m 13 years old. I live in Montreal, Canada. For my Bar Mitzvah project I am doing a fundraiser for a Jewish community near Mbale, Uganda called Nasenyi.

I spoke to Jonathan Miller, a 23 year old member of the Nasenyi Jewish community who said that they need our help. They are hungry and they have no money to buy what they need to go to school.

I can’t imagine what it is like for them and feel very lucky to be able to help. I hope to be able to visit in person one day soon.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the schools in Uganda were closed for two years. During that time, instead of staying home kids in this community went to Hebrew classes which kept them busy and out of trouble. They also kept them busy making kippot.

Here is a video of the kids making Kippot:

Here is a video of the 27 kids learning Hebrew and Torah:

The government just announced the reopening of schools on the 10th of January 2022. Please support the education of these children by donating money for their uniforms and school supplies. This will help prevent illiteracy, unemployment and future crimes.

Every child has a dream as you will see below. Please help me raise money for them so they can buy school supplies and uniforms they need.

Here are some of the Nasenyi children that will be helped by you:
