Hello Friends,
As we celebrated festival of colors ‘Holi’, we were reminded how lucky we are, to have access to the clean water. JJ Yadav, Rahul Mohta and Yogesh Kasat, authors of Microsoft Dynamics AX Implementation Guide , Implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations have decided to share part of the proceeds from the book sales toward ‘clean water’ project for village of Kotambi.
In this mission we have joined Social Networking Forum (SNF) team in their efforts to overcome water crises for Kotambi villagers. Kotambi is small village resting at the top of a mountain with population of 900 people and located about 70 kilometers from Nashik, India. Owing to its dependence on a single well that fills with water between the months of July to January to fulfill its water requirements. The village faces serious water crises during February to June every year. Villagers, especially women and children must resort to climbing down the treacherous hillside to another well downhill, and then back up, balancing on their heads, two or three metal pots full of water. Evidence that there was once an effort made to provide water to this village lies in the form of an unused cement tank. The Social Networking Forum intends to set up a pipeline from the well downhill to this unused tank bringing the water up in the village from where it will be easily accessible to the villagers and hence saving them from the effort and hazard of climbing downhill to fetch water. Work has already started and with help of this fundraiser SNF team will surely be able to complete the project in time.

Well in village without safety wall around, children and women have to risk their life to fetch water from this well. This well is dry after January.
Way towards the well, downhill and 1.5 KM from village
