Clean Water for Africa (Ghana)

Nearly two million children die each year due to a lack of clean water and proper sanitation.

Water, the essence of life and a fundamental human right, lies at the heart of a daily crisis faced by countless millions of the world's most vulnerable people.

People living in the rural parts of Africa walk miles under the scorching heat to fetch water from a dirty, infectious lake where animals defecate. They endure this journey just to collect small amounts of water.

A report estimates that 40 billion hours are spent collecting water each year in sub-Saharan Africa—an entire working year for all the people in the UK.

Clean water is a basic human right and a necessity for survival.

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) mentioned: “The best charity is providing clean drinking water.”

Let’s come together and help those most in need.
