Clem Family Vehicle Crisis

My name is Brian Clem and I am humbly asking for help...The engine of our car seized while driving on the interstate on February 7th. The engine can't be repaired and either the engine or the entire car has to be replaced. Unfortunately, we have been living paycheck to paycheck for some time (two of our children are in college and our daughter dances competitively which is quite expensive). In addition, we have had some work disruptions and our finances are already strained above and beyond the typical challenges. This vehicle was the only means of transportation for my wife, and two of my kids and we suddenly find ourselves without reliable transportation to school and work. To make matters worse we still owe a considerable amount on the now useless car.

As a husband and father, I feel I have failed my family and am hoping for a miracle. I really hate asking for help, but I am at a loss as to what else I can do. This fundraiser is to help us either fix our current vehicle or pay off the broken car and use the rest on a down payment on reliable transportation.
