Clement Emmanuel Lejuez

Clement Emmanuel Lejuez was born on the friendly island of Sint Maarten. He took part in the scouts, hiking, and other outside activities. He was also very active in the Christian community, always helping out at the church and telling others about God. He was a volunteer worker and worked for many years with the White and Yellow Cross, among others.

Unfortunately he developed diabetes which made him very ill. Over the years he at first lost half of his right leg and then the functionality of his kidneys. This caused him to become less active in society.

He traveled to the Netherlands in the hopes of getting better medical care. Unfortunately by the time he got here, he was already quite ill. Manuel is at a point where he doesn't have much time left with us, and he isn't able to travel either. Besides his dream of having his health improve, he dearly wants to see the snow. These will remain dreams. His body is very tired. His wish is for him to be laid to rest in the soil from which he came. Mano wants to return home. He wants to be back on our dear Soualigan soil. He needs your help making that last dream, come true. He was a strong community man, always there to help others. Now that he isn't able to help himself, we desperately need you, his community, to help him.

His final plea is for your helping hands to join together to get him back home to you, even if his spirit is gone. Please help anyway you can. It will be greatly appreciated.

PS
It is with a heavy heart that I now sit here today, having to tell you that Clement is no longer with us. I will be needing your help now far more than ever. Please be generous and give what you can give to get him home and give him the homegoing he requires. I cannot do this on my own. I do need humanity and compassion to take the reins here, because of the delay in the burial schedule on Sint Maarten, more funds are needed than what's stated.

Clements last words were to thank you for your help and to sooth us, saying he is alright. He died peacefully.

Thank you.
