Clemson Lacrosse 2021 Season
Donation protected
This page is dedicated to funding the Clemson Lacrosse team for their 2021 season. With the effects of COVID-19, the school has withdrawn all funding from our program(~10-20k) and is not allowing us to play any games on our home field. With this comes challenges in finding places to play, our cost of travel, and the gear that we provide our team for the season(helmets, gloves, jerseys, etc.). The players on our team pay for a majority of the team's expenses and now with our funding cut we are facing even more costs.
Within the video linked above, you can find our Team President and VP talking about our season and what the money will go towards. There are also a couple testimonials from our past alumni talking about exactly what the team meant to them.
We would be very grateful for any amount that you are willing to donate as it will go a long way to making our season a success. We are a completely student run-program with our season being planned all by the work of our 8 man officers board.
Last season we were 6-3 and were ranked 15th in the country before it got short and we were all sent home for the semester. Our first game is set for March 6th against Tennessee in Knoxville with other conference games to follow leading up towards the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference tournament.
We look forward to having a great season and to continue building this program towards a stronger future!
