Clerks Care - Hurricane Ian
Donation protected
Overview:
Hurricane Ian has caused widespread devastation throughout Florida and our fellow Clerks, and their team members, are no exception.
As the recovery and rebuilding process begins, we are determined to help our Clerk family, and their team members, through the difficult times ahead. Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers (FCCC) has created a fundraising campaign to provide as much relief as possible to Clerks of Court and their staff affected by Hurricane Ian.
Whether you're a Clerk, a Clerk staff member, or a partner within nearby communities, we'd like to encourage you to contribute to our campaign. Please consider donating today, so we can reach our goal of $20,000.
How it works:
The total amount raised will be managed by the association (FCCC). It will be allocated proportionately to each county that is part of Federal and/or State Disaster Declarations if the Clerk chooses to participate in the Clerks Care program.
The elected Clerk in each affected county will identify specific team member needs within their office. In coordination with FCCC, the Clerk will provide funds in a manner best suited to meet their team members’ needs (e.g., Visa gift cards, cash, other).
Who can participate:
We would encourage and invite everyone who is a part of the Clerk family, and who is able to give, to contribute to or share this fundraising campaign. Please send this fundraising campaign as you deem appropriate: to the professional team members in your offices, to your vendors, and to your partners. Everyone is welcome to contribute.
While there is no official deadline for the campaign, we would like to provide the funds as soon as possible as the needs are immediate.
Every contribution counts! We are hoping to raise $20,000 with this campaign. Together, let's help out our neighboring Clerks of Court and Comptrollers who need it most.
Please get in touch with the FCCC Communications Team if you have any questions.
Thank you!
