Click With Kindness: Raising Awareness to End Cyberbullying
Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Ashley Parker, and I’ve started a fundraiser to raise awareness about cyberbullying and work toward stopping it. My journey began when I realized just how deeply cyberbullying can impact young people. Digital safety isn’t something that’s often discussed or properly taught to children, yet so many kids and teens face online harassment, hurtful comments, and the lasting emotional effects that come with it. It’s a problem that’s often overlooked, but it can have serious consequences, and I knew I needed to do something to help change that.
To raise awareness and help educate young people, I wrote and illustrated a children’s book called Sasha Goes to Cyberspace. The story follows Sasha, a dog who explores the internet, only to find herself the target of cyberbullying. As she navigates this new world, Sasha learns important lessons about digital safety, standing up for herself, and dealing with negativity.
But I didn’t want to stop there. I wanted to use this book to make a profound impact. That’s why I created Click with Kindness—a fundraiser aimed at raising money for charities helping combat cyberbullying. The proceeds from every copy of Sasha Goes to Cyberspace sold will go directly to The Cybersmile Foundation: a nonprofit organization that works to end cyberbullying, harassment, and other forms of digital abuse.
Thank you for joining me in this mission. Together, we can help stop cyberbullying and spread kindness across cyberspace.
