Cliff Elledge died unexpectedly in his sleep on April 10. Cliff was married to Lee Harris Elledge for 34 years. Their only child, Harris Elledge, died in 2016.
Cliff grew up in Nashville and was blessed with a sharp mind and an irreverent sense of humor. Cliff possessed an unusual combination of both carpentry and cooking skills. He worked for several different millwork companies over the course of his career in the construction industry. He was deeply devoted to his wife Lee and their son Harris. Cliff and Lee were married at West End Methodist Church in 1986 and continued to consider West End their church home.
In the years before his death, Cliff suffered from persistent medical problems, including heart and back conditions that made it difficult to earn a living in his field. In addition, Lee has been unable to work since she was injured in a serious car accident in 2014.
At the time of this tremendous loss, Lee needs help to cover the cost of Cliff’s cremation, interment, obituary and memorial service. Friends have started this Go Fund Me page to gather the funds to cover these costs.
It is our hope that Cliff and Lee’s community of friends and co-workers can contribute to giving Cliff the respectful and loving service he deserves.
