Clifford Family Donation

Calyx and her family welcomed a beautiful baby girl on August 11th. Carys Clifford was born two months early due to complications. She then spent about a month in the NICU growing into the strong warrior she is before she was released to finally be with her family. With the surge in Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) cases in our community, the Clifford family was especially careful in trying to keep their high-risk girl safe. Unfortunately, it could not be avoided, and Carys was diagnosed with RSV on November 19th and admitted to the hospital on November 20th. She has since been transferred to Santa Clara Valley Medical and is in PICU trying to battle this terrible virus.
As most of you know, Calyx is the kindest, most selfless person on this earth. She is always beaming with positivity, even in the most challenging situations. Calyx was pulled from work due to medical reasons related to her pregnancy the day after our first all-staff day of the year. She has since exhausted her sick leave and is currently on sub-deducted pay (which, as you can imagine, is not a lot).
This gofundme obviously can’t fix the medical journey the Clifford family has been going through, but hopefully we can come together as a Seaside family to help lift the financial burden of medical bills and/or gas as they travel to and from the Bay Area to be with their little warrior. Any amount you can donate is very much appreciated.
If you cannot donate but would like to send a card or anything else to help the family… Heather Johnson can collect and deliver anything you’d like to give.
