Hi, I'm Eva Steinwald! At 62, I'm on a mission to conquer the Seven Summits by the age of 70—all to raise awareness for climate change.

My journey began in 2018 when I faced my fear of heights by climbing Idaho's tallest peak, Mount Borah. After the unexpected loss of my husband of 26 years later that year, I realized life is precious, and I wanted to inspire others to live to the fullest, even through life's hardest challenges.

Since then, I’ve summited some incredible mountains:

Mount Rainier (July 2021)

Everest Base Camp & Lobuche (spring 2022)

Grand Teton (July 2022)

Grande Paradiso (August 2022)

Monte Rosa Massif (August 2022)

Grossglockner (August 2022)

Aconcagua (January 2024)

Denali (June 2024)

Up next? Everest in April 2025! ️

During my climbs, I've witnessed firsthand how climate change is rapidly impacting our planet, including the melting of the Khumbu Glacier in Nepal. This is why I’m using my climbs to bring attention to the urgent need to protect our environment.
