Climate Cycle

A plant-based world record cyclist (me) is going on a cycle tour of Britain to discover if there is a way to save the planet without being so extreme!
On 5th June 2023 (World Environment Day), I'm cycling around mainland Britain, covering approx. 3,000 miles. As I travel, I'll be stopping at 30 different locations to engage communities, companies and councils in the conversation around climate change.
On my home-built bamboo bike, I'll take part in planting seagrass, rewilding gardens, picking up plastic on beaches and many more small but important actions.
Predictions of the global average temperature rising by +1.5oC and the sea levels rising means a lot of the villages, communities and land I'm passing through are under direct threat of being heavily impacted or totally disappearing. It's not too late to make a change, and that's why I'm also committing to plant 3,000 trees. Trees are part of the solution to stopping the climate crisis.
As a passionate plant-based person, I will also exclusively use recycled, reused and carbon-neutral products.
My bike is made of bamboo, I'll carry a tent to sleep under the stars and lean on the hospitality of the villages I'll be passing through to feed me :)
I'm also quickly learning how to create a documentary (with a very experienced team to support me) about the trip and key climate action messages I'll be learning along the ride.
I need your help to make all this happen.
Please donate to help me and every person who supports me, I'll have a tree planted under your name.
I'm also looking for corporate partners, so if you work for a purpose-driven company, please get in touch.
