Climb for Ella

We are fundraising for Little Ella, who is 7 years old and lives in Hamiltonsbawn, Co Armagh. At the start of this year Ella was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She has since then endured a total of 6 of surgeries so far, one lasting more than 12 hours. She has undergone proton beam therapy and now has 9 months of chemotherapy ahead of her. Presently the brain surgery has left her with speech and movement difficulties (posterior fossa syndrome) which means she requires a wheelchair and full time care. We want to raise some money for the family to give some support in the hard months that lie ahead of them.

A group of people, including myself, will be climbing Slieve Donard at 10am on Saturday 12th August to raise awareness and some funds. This has been organised by my very dear friend Leanne Black for the family. Leanne's daughter Maisie is friends with and is in the same class as little Ella, so this is one that is very close to home for them. Thankful for any donations you may wish to make.
