Climbing Kilimanjaro for Autism
In February 2024 we will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, in Tanzania.
The climb will be in aid of Ambitious About Autism, a national charity that supports children & young people diagnosed with autism as well as their families.
My little nephew Callum was diagnosed with autism in 2021. Autism is a developmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and how they experience the world around them.
Ambitious about Autism strives to help children like Callum get the best start in life, the start that all children deserve regardless of ability. The charity are working to raise the awareness of the important of early diagnoses which will allow the chance of the best start in life for children with Autism. The charity also supports children throughout school and preparing for adulthood.
The trip is fully self funded and 100% of donations will go to Ambitious About Autism. Thank you in advance for all your donations it means more than you will ever know.
