Climbing Mount Everett Supporting Natalie and Glenn
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
We’re reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support for our dear friends Natalie, Glenn and their incredibly brave son, Everett.
Everett's Story:
When Everett was born, he faced immediate and severe health challenges, spending the first five weeks of his life in the NICU. This marked the beginning of a complex and emotionally charged medical journey for their family, including countless tests, uncertainty, several surgeries, and ultimately, a heart transplant.
As Everett grew, his medical needs became even more complex. Everett and Natalie spent a year living at Lurie’s hospital in Chicago, far from home and loved ones with Glenn commuting to and from work back in Madison. Due to Everett’s extensive medical needs, Natalie needed to leave her job and provided round the clock support for Everett and continues to do so now that they are home.
At just 1.5 years old, Everett now faces the likely need for a kidney transplant, a significant and daunting next step in his fight. We are reaching out once again, grateful for the continued support and kindness that has carried them this far, and hoping for your help as they navigate this next critical phase in Everett's life.
How You Can Help:
Early in their journey, Natalie and Glenn were deeply touched by the incredible support from their community—from texts, to dropping off meals, to an incredible amount raised through an earlier GoFundMe. This generosity and kindness was critical for their family, not only financially, but emotionally as they navigated the unimaginable. As Everett's condition has continued to evolve, the road has proven to be long, unthinkably challenging, and filled with more love than they thought possible. Whether you can contribute financially or with a meal, encouraging text or positive thoughts—any support is welcome and appreciated.
To know Natalie and Glenn is to know their kind hearts, generous souls and exuberant compassion for others. Our hope is to support their family in the ways they have supported so many others.
Donations will go towards:
- Medical bills and ongoing treatments
- Specialized equipment and medications
- Travel expenses for hospital visits
- Daily living expenses as they continue to navigate this long journey
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in their lives. Your support will help ease the financial strain and allow Natalie and Glenn to focus on what matters most – Everett’s health and well-being.
We deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity. Thank you for being part of Everett’s journey and helping this incredible family navigate this next chapter.
