It is unimaginable for many of us to face the loss of our homes and communities and to have to rebuild entirely.
Lungi is a village in Sierra Leone that was devasted by the Ebola crisis in 2014 - 2016, facing multiple quarantines and loss of livelihoods. Catch the Dream (CtD), a small non-profit charity, has been working with Lungi since 2017 and is thrilled that the support from people like you are helping put them back on their feet.
Last year, CtD was asked to work with another village called Jolu. Situated 5 miles from the nearest town and only accessible either by a 4x4, on foot or by bike, Jolu is working hard to become self-sufficient. We have an opportunity to give support to help Jolu get back on its feet, to become a thriving community once again, self-sufficient, maintaining good health and well-being.
We are all connected in the world, and it matters to help one another in times of need and to do so with dignity and empowerment.
We are a group of friends and family attempting the challenge of the 3 National Peaks in 24 hours (or as near as we can!).
This has been Lindsay's dream challenge for several years and now she has a bunch of friends and family who are up for giving it a go together. Please support us - encouraging us in the challenge - and please support this village and this charity in making a difference throughout the world.
