Climbing Mt Rainier to fundraise for Asha Seattle

My journey with Asha started last year, when I joined them to train for mountain climbing and climb Glacier Peak, raising funds for Asha Seattle in the process. After going through that amazing journey last year, I decided to come back for round 2 this year!

So I signed up to climb Mt Rainier, the tallest stratovolcano in WA state and the most glaciated peak in the lower 48, and have been going on training hikes and conditioning myself for the climb with our wonderful Asha leads the last couple of months. My climb is scheduled for June 25-28.

Together, we are raising money to support educating underprivileged children in India. Any donations towards the cause will go a long way in terms of supporting the kids and motivating us to push ourselves to do this.

Note: The funds being raised here are not financing my climb in any way. I have provided the finances for the gear and guide services for those myself. All the funds raised will be exclusively used for Asha for Education projects.

Asha for Education has consistently secured a 100% rating on Charity Navigator, a well-established database that evaluates non-profit organizations on the basis of transparency, accountability, and financial parameters.
