5th Pinner Climbing & Sensory Room fundraiser

I am running the 2024 London Marathon to help support the 5th Pinner Scout group, for whom I am part of the trustee board, raise funds to create an indoor climbing and sensory room in their

Scout Hut.

We welcome Scouts from the age of 5 all the way up to 14 and currently have 120 members. 5th Pinner offers a wide range of activities which lead to badges, awards and so much more! Our next accomplishment would be to create an indoor climbing room, which will be accessible for all ages and would help our young people gain confidence, independence and a new skill in the comfort of their very own Scout Hut. This room would have bouldering holds in all shapes, sizes and heights, with crash mats that can be raised when not being used.

The room would also be equipped to become a sensory escape when not used for climbing. This would enable our young people to have a calm, quiet and comforting area whenever they need it. We understand every child is unique and allowing our young people to express themselves is something we are aiming for.

It is key that ALL of our members here at 5th Pinner Scout Group feel they can get the best opportunities with us whilst feeling at their very best! We appreciate any support you can give to help us achieve this next milestone for our young members.
