Climbing Schiehallion for the Schiehallion Ward at RHC
Our beautiful daughter Florence was diagnosed in January of this year with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She has spent the past 6 months in and out of ward 2A, the Schiehallion Ward.
Florence still has a long road ahead with a further 18 months of treatment.
We are thankful to be surrounded by supportive friends and family. We are also extremely grateful to the amazing staff of the Schiehallion Ward for providing us with incredible care and support.
September is blood cancer awareness month so to raise awareness …
On the 7th of September myself and Matthew along with an our supportive friends and family members are climbing the Schiehallion summit in Florence’s name to raise money for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us as a family.
Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity (formerly Yorkhill Children's Charity) funds medical equipment, research, play and family support at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. The staff and volunteers have been outstanding during our time spent in hospital and we would love to give something back to say thank you!
Your generosity helps the charity care for the 160,000 boys and girls (including our Florence) from across Scotland treated at the hospital each year.
Thank you for donating in Florence’s name!
