New clinical trial: curing pancreatic cancer
Tax deductible
Professor Rotem Karni’s research group at the Hebrew University Faculty of Medicine, has made a fundamental discovery of how pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) spreads and how it may be stopped. The findings were recently published in the journal Nature and later on replicated by other scientists. An exciting outcome of this discovery is the possibility of a potential treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer.
A clinical trial is needed to determine whether the promising results in the lab can lead to a working cure. Because we're using an off-label (generic) drug, there is no profit potential for pharmaceutical companies, and the only source of funding for such a trial is donations. We already raised half of the money needed for the trial, but we still need your help to make this happen. This is one of the rare moments where donations will make a tremendous impact, and save patients' lives.
Help us get this clinical trial running. Together, we can cure pancreatic cancer.
