Clinton Community Garden Eagle Scout Project

Hello, my name is Oliver Baker and I am a Life Scout from Troop 7 here in Clinton. I am currently planning my Eagle Scout Project which will be the construction of a pergola over the picnic tables and work area at the community garden in Clinton, which is behind the Holy Advent Episcopal Church on Route 1.

I am asking for donations for the materials and supplies that I will need to execute my project in the Spring of 2022 and I am hoping that you would consider supporting my project.

I believe that this will be a beneficial addition to the community garden as it will provide valuable shade for the volunteers when they are preparing and packaging produce from the garden for the town food pantry. Currently the volunteers lack shade and feel the heat, especially during the summer months. I am currently working with the Community Garden volunteers as well as the members of the Holy Advent Episcopal Church to make this project possible.

I would be very appreciative for any assistance that you could provide to benefit this community service project.
