It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our K-9 Chero.
K-9 Chero became very sick overnight on Friday and was taken to the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center for evaluation. While there, it was found that he had suffered from an illness that could not be fixed.
K-9 Chero was euthanized at 8:00am Saturday September 9, 2017.
K-9 Chero was born on January 2, 2013 and started working at the Clintonville Police Department on November 1, 2014. Since then, K-9 Chero had provided support in situations for Officer Safety, Narcotics, and Tracking. He has many arrests credited to the work that he has done for the City of Clintonville.
The Clintonville Police Department would like to thank the citizens of Clintonville and the surrounding communities for their continued support of our K-9 program and K-9 Chero.
Rest In Peace K-9 Chero.
All funds raised during this campaign will go toward Memorial needs for K-9 Chero and the rest will help to continue the K-9 program for the City of Clitonville.
