Clive Pretty 40 years our Scout Leader !

Lets get a retirement present for Clive, and give him a massive THANK YOU!

Clive joined Scouting in Danbury nearly 40 years ago, and has provided fantastic adventures for young people of all ages constantly, ever since then, Clive will celebrate his 80th Birthday shortly, (in July), and this year will be one of his first birthdays at home - because he has been at Scouts Summer Camp for most birthdays for the last 40 years.

Clive is an inspiration to young people, and Adults, alike, and his constant smile and knowledge have been an enduring feature within Danbury Scouting.

Clive is moving in to semi-retirement in Scouting, although thankfully will still continue to help us with his friendship, wisdom, and skills, and so at this year's AGM, we plan to give him a surprise present to thank him for being so great for so many years. If you would like to contribute to Clive's present, please do so with this page, and please also leave him a message - we will try to find a way to print them all out for him.
