Help Clonown Community complete our dressing rooms

1. BACKGROUND

We are Clonown Community Ltd, and we’re almost at the finish line of a project that started in 2009. For the past 15 years, our dedicated committee and the amazing community of Clonown have been working together on a four-phase plan to enhance our local facilities and create a place for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to your incredible support over the years, we’ve successfully completed three of the four phases:

• Phase 1: Development of a local pitch – providing a space for sports, events, and community gatherings.

• Phase 2: Creation of a walking track with lights – a safe, scenic area for the community to stay active and enjoy nature.

• Phase 3: Installation of a playground – giving our children a fun and secure environment to play and grow.

Now, we’re excited to move into the final phase: building a much-needed dressing rooms!

2. WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Our target is to raise €6,000, and this will help us complete this last phase. The funds collected here will go directly toward the construction of the dressing room. This building will be a permanent fixture for Clonown, benefiting both current residents and future generations.

This project has truly been a labour of love for the entire community, and we couldn’t have come this far without your continued generosity and support.

We would also like to thank Roscommon County Council (Athlone Municipal area members), Roscommon Leader Partnership and the Department of Sports for their grant funding to date.

Now, we’re asking for one final push to get us across the finish line.
