Club Foot Project
Prof Gatrad met an 11 year old girl begging on the street in Islamabad in 2016. He subsequently set up a club foot centre in Gujarat Pakistan where he has many other projects dealing with disabilities such as cleft deformities. Hundreds now attend from all over Pakistan and beyond. Treatment is totally free for the poor.
Children with disabilities beg on the streets get abused and are trafficked with no future. With your help we make sure that they take their rightful place in society by going to school, securing employment, getting married and be useful members of their family and society. If Club feet are treated at birth they do not need an operation and a child will walk perfectly normally by serial casting and physiotherapy.
Our target is to raise £100,000 to ensure that this centre continues to benefit these unfortunate children. So please donate generously.
