Clubathon - Covid India Relief

India is burning in the fire of COVID. By the time you finish reading this, 17 people would have died of COVID. Cases are increasing exponentially, and infection rates have crossed 400,000 per day. Official data is consistently underreporting the scale & scope of the wave. Such is the gravity of the crisis that crematoriums & graveyards are overwhelmed. The crisis is detrimental and its magnitude is still unknown.

India's healthcare infrastructure has given way. And the Indian government has failed to respond in a meaningful way.  As a result, India's citizens are on their own. Indian social media is full of desperate, heartbreaking calls for oxygen, ICU beds and therapeutics. 

Using its extensive disaster response knowledge, Khalsa Aid International (2021 Nobel Peace Prize nominee) is on the ground responding to this humanitarian disaster. From supplying oxygen cylinders & concentrators to patients to setting up field hospitals & converting Gurdwaras to shelters, Khalsa Aid's work is helping people breathe.

However, Khalsa Aid needs all the resources it can get. Hence this fundraiser all proceeds of which will directly strengthen Khalsa Aid's relief efforts in the most impacted areas.
